COMPANY HISTORY AND PROFILE

Our experience with automatic doors goes back to about 1982 when we installed our first Stanley Magic Door. Since then, we have installed or programed more than 250 automatic/powered doors, both electrical and pneumatic.

The enactment of the Americans With Disabilities Act, led an electrical and general contractor and a glass and aluminum retailer to join talents to serve their clients´ needs for automatic and powered doors.

In 1999, those two companies, Viana Electric and Cristalería Vega Alta, Inc. (now Vega Alta Glass, Inc.), incorporated Electro-Door, Inc. in the Puerto Rico State Department.

Electro-Door keeps good ties, service, sells, cooperates, does joint referrals and cherishes the goodwill it has generated with its former parent companies, and other glass wholesalers, dealers and retailers in Puerto Rico.

Cofounder Mr. Josué Marrero-La Fontaine is the Owner and President. He is a Bachelor in Science in Electronic Engineering Technology and an electrician.

Electro-Door´s home office is in central Puerto Rico, between the towns of Jayuya and Utuado, with additional personnel in the central north coast, thus we provide coast to coast services, throughout Puerto Rico. Our address is 13 Guillermo Esteves St., Jayuya, Puerto Rico. From our location in central Puerto Rico we currently provide services island wide.

We service and provide maintenance for existing installations for several brand name doors. We have experience with automatic and powered doors manufactured by, among others: Besam, Door-matic, Horton Automatic, Clark, Stanley, and American Automatic Door. We are experienced with rapid and safety doors manufactured by Dynaco Doors.

Depending on client needs, we provide expedited repair and installation services, even if it means having the components delivered by next day or second day air couriers.
